Make Your Mondays ROCK!!!

September 8th, 2008

Anyone have a case of the Mondays?

If so, perhaps you could benefit from the advice of BBP friend Phillip Zannini. Phillip made a great post a couple of Mondays ago helping us see how we can make Mondays better.

Try a few of these tips and if you want to add a few thoughts…feel free to do so in the comments.

Thanks, Phillip, for permission to link…Jason

I believe Office Space said all there was to say about the phrase ‘Case of the Mondays’

Peter Gibbons: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday, and you’re not feelin’ real well, does anyone ever say to you, ‘Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays’?
Lawrence: No. No, man. Sh!t, no, man. I believe you’d get your ass kicked sayin’ something like that, man.

I think that there is a great deal of group think when it comes to the Monday mentality. We all look around and see how others are looking and act accordingly…but if we set the mood and the energy, we might have a more impactful start to the work week.

I really enjoyed your post. It’s easy to get wound up before we even get started. When I want to get moving I will breathe in through my nose and then exhale out my mouth.
Oxygen is a natural relaxant and breathing through the nose cools the brain. Who doesn’t want a cool brain?
